Logistics Officer - Aviation Experience

Job Title:  Logistics Officer – Aviation Experience 

Core Job Responsibilities:

• Driving best logistics cost by competitive bidding for heavy shipments and ensure shipment delivery within TAT.
• Collaborate with maintenance planning and engineering teams to forecast spare parts and material requirements.
• Obtain quotations from Freight Forwarders, negotiate best possible rates and discounts.
• Develop and maintain effective relationships with suppliers and ensure timely delivery of parts and materials.
• Station stock monitoring, controlling and transfers by effective coordination with stake holders and ensure recommended critical stock level maintained at each station.
• Monitor and analyze inventory levels, implementing strategies to optimize stock and reduce costs.
• Processing of credit vendors invoices for payment within due dates
• Ensure that all logistics activities comply with aviation safety regulations and standards, including documentation of all received and dispatched parts.
• Ensure timely delivery of parts and materials to support scheduled and unscheduled maintenance activities.
• Work closely with suppliers, vendors, and shipping companies to track and expedite orders.
• Maintain accurate documentation of all transactions, including purchase orders, shipping records, and inventory logs.

Educational Qualifications & Experience :

Technical Services Manager

Job Title: Technical Services Manager

Core Job Responsibilities:

Develop and implement the Reliability system for fleet aircraft.
• Responsible for all continuing airworthiness functions.
• Monitor CAA/FAA/EASA mandatory requirements and ensure compliance for company’s fleet and approvals.
• Review of documentation required for Certificate of Registration, Certificate of Airworthiness (COFA) issue/renewal, Export COFA, Airworthiness Review Certification (ARC) issue/renewal as and when applicable.
• Assessment of all related ADs on bi-weekly basis published on FAA, EASA and CAA websites. Verification and tracking of mandatory and non-mandatory modifications issued by Manufacturer and discuss in MCM.
• Preparation of Engineering Orders for compliance of AD-SB on operator’s fleet.
• Propose amendment and review of CAME (and other CAMO manuals) in line with current regulatory requirements.
• Review of draft AMP amendment and advice corrections as and when required.
• Performing Engine Health Monitoring (EHM) Services and liaise with manufacturer for corrective action if any kind of abnormality observed.
• Provide Technical Support for aircraft structural repairs during line maintenance & Heavy Maintenance at contracted MROs.
• Review work carried out by Part 145 org following base maintenance.
• Monitor sub-contracted CAMO in accordance with the sub-contracting agreement.
• Review of STC requirements and ensure ICA tasks compliance are included in AMP.
• Liaising with Boeing, Pratt and Whitney, GE, Honeywell and other vendors on technical issues pertaining to ATC fleet.
• Preparation and review of line maintenance contracts for the stations requested by management.
• Represent CAMO for in-house and Regulatory Authority Surveillance /Audit and assist QAM for developing corrective and preventive actions to audit findings.
• Carry out day-to-day activities of the Part M CAMO Department, respond to technical queries and additional ad-hoc projects.
• Any other engineering projects for the organization assets as & when advised by management.
• Conducting Reliability Monitoring Control Board meeting and distribution of minutes of meeting. Make recommendations for AMP effectiveness in consultation with Part 66 engineers.
• Conduct Mod Committee meeting to discuss non-mandatory modifications and distribution of minutes of meeting for further action.
• Conducting Management Meeting & any other Ad-hoc meetings as required by Management.
• Any other job assigned by Management.

Educational Qualifications & Experience :

Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Aeronautical Engineering or a Part 66 B1 type rated AMEL, preferably on B747-400.
• Fluent in English with good communication skills.
• Minimum 15 years’ experience in a CAMO and 145 environment, preferably with experience on 747-400 or other Boeing family aircraft.

Additional:

• Experience as a CAMO auditor and auditee.
• Up-to-date training on Part M, Part CAMO, Part 145, EWIS, FTS, HF, and SMS.
• Good knowledge of EASA regulations and IOSA requirements.

Supervisor – Aviation Procurement

Job Title:  Supervisor – Aviation Procurement

Core Job Responsibilities:

  • Manage the team of buyers ensuring high performance and productivity.
  • Day to day operations with an emphasis on sourcing actions to the Purchase Requisitions within agreed timeline.
  • Sourcing and supply across a wide range of spend categories of aircraft parts, tools, services etc.
  • Identify cost saving opportunities that will enhance the profitability of the company.
  • Data analysis and reporting including monitoring mechanisms that identifies savings achieved by category and supplier.
  • Develop and build relationships with existing suppliers and create relationships with new suppliers.
  • Ensure compliance of established purchasing policies and procedures. Conduct ongoing reviews of same and implement continuous improvements where required.
  • Approved Supplier Master List- monitor, controls & updates regularly for validity.
  • Identifies and researches potential new suppliers
  • Supplier Performance monitoring & reporting to management about any trouble suppliers and appropriate action
  • Effectively engage with users & stakeholders to seek feedback on sourcing related issues & suggestions for improvements
  • Assist HOD in the development and achievement of departmental goals and objectives.
  • Consult & work with other HOD on specific initiatives as required and undertake any other assigned duties

Educational Qualifications:

Aircraft Power Plant Engineer

Job Title:  Aircraft Power Plant Engineer

Core Job Responsibilities:

– Manage aircraft engine fleet in all aspects and associated activities.
– Review Service Bulletins and Airworthiness Directives for Engines, APUs, and Nacelles.
– Oversee implementation programs for modifications to Engines, APUs, Nacelles, and accessory parts.
– Provide technical support to Line and Heavy Maintenance.
– Support Reliability studies.

– At least 8 years of experience in an Airline/Powerplant Engineering department.

– Technical and commercial knowledge of Engine fleet maintenance, repair, and general management.

  • Perform inspection, repair and modification work based on current authorization and training level.
  • To communicate at all times with MCC and CAMO to ensure that they are fully informed of any developments.
  • Responsible for the standard of work carried out by yourself and those under your control
  • Installation of spare parts, expendables and components, which shall always be accompanied by appropriate documentation to suit the eligibility requirements for the aircraft/component including the modification status and AD compliance status.
  • Ensuring the completeness of all maintenance documents in the area of responsibility
  • Ensuring the equipment, tools and premises in your charge are maintained to satisfactory standard and that discrepancies are reported to the appropriate departments, both within and external to the company
