ATC Inaugural flight from CAN to BNE

“August 7,  2020 was a historic day for AEROTRANSCARGO when its B747-400 aircraft ER-JAI operating flight F5-6604 from CAN VIA KUL landed in the Australian sub-continent for the very first time. The majestic ATC B747-400 often called the ‘queen of the skies’ made a text book approach over the beautiful city of Brisbane and landed at 1126 UTC at Brisbane International Airport. The Brisbane Airport Authorities gave our inaugural flight a warm welcome by guiding the aircraft to the nose-in gate at the  architecturally acclaimed International Terminal. It was indeed a rare privilege for a cargo aircraft. After an overnight halt, the aircraft departed for KUL at 0640 UTC on August 8.

To be able  to operate into Australia meant that AEROTRANSCARGO had to fulfil the very stringent technical and operational requirements of CASA to get the ‘Foreign Air Transport Air Operator’s Certificate’. After evaluating AEROTRANSCARGO’s safety record and ensuring that all our systems and procedures were to ICAO standards and complied with all the CASA requirements, CASA gave the green signal for AEROTRANSCARGO to commence operations into and out of Australia.”
