Supervisor – Aviation Procurement

Job Title:  Supervisor – Aviation Procurement

Core Job Responsibilities:

  • Manage the team of buyers ensuring high performance and productivity.
  • Day to day operations with an emphasis on sourcing actions to the Purchase Requisitions within agreed timeline.
  • Sourcing and supply across a wide range of spend categories of aircraft parts, tools, services etc.
  • Identify cost saving opportunities that will enhance the profitability of the company.
  • Data analysis and reporting including monitoring mechanisms that identifies savings achieved by category and supplier.
  • Develop and build relationships with existing suppliers and create relationships with new suppliers.
  • Ensure compliance of established purchasing policies and procedures. Conduct ongoing reviews of same and implement continuous improvements where required.
  • Approved Supplier Master List- monitor, controls & updates regularly for validity.
  • Identifies and researches potential new suppliers
  • Supplier Performance monitoring & reporting to management about any trouble suppliers and appropriate action

Educational Qualifications:

Experience Required:

Minimum 12 years of working experience in Procurement & Supply Chain; comprehensive knowledge in strategic procurement. Minimum 5 years supervisory experience in Aviation procurement & supply chain arena

Supervisor - Warehouse & Logistics

Job Title:  Supervisor – Warehouse & Logistics

Core Job Responsibilities:

  • Individual should be capable of developing an Aviation Warehouse and system independently.
  • Oversee the inventory management and control processes for aircraft spare parts and materials.
  • Lead and develop a team of stores and logistics staff, ensuring efficient and accurate operations.
  • Implement and maintain effective documentation and record-keeping systems related to stores and logistics.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement initiatives to enhance efficiency and customer satisfaction.
  • The controlling and monitoring of day-to-day stores activity, including data entry and recording of stock movements in the AD software
  • Ensuring that the stores areas are well defined and indicated by applicable signs into – inwards goods, Bonded store, unserviceable, Serviceable areas, Commercial Goods, DG Storage, and lockable Quarantine area and that parts are placed in the correct locations.
  • Collaborate with maintenance planning and engineering teams to forecast spare parts and materials requirements.

Aircraft Power Plant Engineer

Job Title:  Aircraft Power Plant Engineer

Core Job Responsibilities:

– Manage aircraft engine fleet in all aspects and associated activities.
– Review Service Bulletins and Airworthiness Directives for Engines, APUs, and Nacelles.
– Oversee implementation programs for modifications to Engines, APUs, Nacelles, and accessory parts.
– Provide technical support to Line and Heavy Maintenance.
– Support Reliability studies.
– Control and oversee Engine Health Monitoring (EHM).
– Liaise with OEMs to resolve reliability and technical issues.
– Generate operator documents (MEL Technical Notices, Procedure Notices, Engineering orders, reports, etc.).
– Provide technical support for aircraft lease reception and returns.
– Scope work and review invoices for Engine shop visits.
– Manage Engine Shop visit schedules, costs, and MRO relationships.
– Represent the Powerplant department in meetings to support the company’s strategic decision-making.
– Participate in continuous improvement and transformation projects as a representative for the Powerplant department.
– Conduct in-depth analysis of Engine and APU BSI reports.
– Evaluate engines for lease or purchase based on documentation and checklists.
– Visit MRO during engine shop visits for table-top inspection after disassembly and other required times.

Educational Qualifications:

– Engineering Degree in a Technical Field (or 10 years of experience directly with Engines/Powerplant systems with an Aircraft Maintenance Engineer certification).

Experience Required:

– At least 8 years of experience in an Airline/Powerplant Engineering department.

Competencies:

– Technical and commercial knowledge of Engine fleet maintenance, repair, and general management.
– Experience with B747 aircraft family.
– Experience with CF6 and/or PW4000 Engines.
– Familiarity with EASA Regulations.

  • Perform inspection, repair and modification work based on current authorization and training level.
  • To communicate at all times with MCC and CAMO to ensure that they are fully informed of any developments.
  • Responsible for the standard of work carried out by yourself and those under your control
  • Installation of spare parts, expendables and components, which shall always be accompanied by appropriate documentation to suit the eligibility requirements for the aircraft/component including the modification status and AD compliance status.
  • Ensuring the completeness of all maintenance documents in the area of responsibility
  • Ensuring the equipment, tools and premises in your charge are maintained to satisfactory standard and that discrepancies are reported to the appropriate departments, both within and external to the company

We are currently looking for an experienced Aircraft Technician B1

Key responsibilities:

  • Reviews assigned task cards with the Engineer to gain full understanding of the work, priorities, documentation requirements and precautions, prior to starting work.

 

  • Prepares and performs scheduled and unscheduled aircraft maintenance along with engineer including repairs, component replacements, tests and defect rectification ensuring that the required documentation, parts, tools and GSE are obtained and used per issued instructions.

 

  • Ensures proper tooling / equipment is drawn from stores to perform tasks, returning all of it in good condition following completion of work.

 

  • Demonstrates high level of consideration to housekeeping and safety standards in all tasks performed.

 

  • Demonstrates good knowledge and understanding of airframe and powerplant systems. Has computer skills and is proficient in MS office.

 

  • Accompanies flights as on board technician assisting engineer in carrying out maintenance tasks at various stations.

 

  • Performs any other tasks assigned by Management including stores and documentation related tasks.

 

  • Willing to work at any location.

Qualifications:

Must have basic aircraft maintenance engineer’s license.

MCC Engineer

We are currently looking for an experienced MCC Engineer

Core Job responsibilities:

  • Live monitoring of a/c condition using AIRMAN and/or aircraft condition data from post-flight reports through ACARS data transfer.
  • Technical delay recording control in real time with the Operations Control Center (OCC).
  • Issuing report twice a day to cover shift handovers listing the open MEL/CDL’s, limitation on aircraft, repetitive defect checks, aircraft out/back of service, technical delays, reportable occurrences, pending repairs status and DY Check last accomplishment time.
  • Work in cooperation with Operations Control Center (OCC) to update the defect rectification plan as a result of changes to the schedule.
  • Request assistance from TC, STC or part 21 DO for approval condition whenever a/c damages are not covered with approved documentation data and/or when intensive troubleshooting is required.
  • Ensure compliance with all scheduled and unscheduled maintenance requirements, including daily and weekly checks. This includes the monitoring of all aircraft condition data to understand the status of the fleet, and develop necessary actions to rectify findings.
  • MCC shall lead the daily conference call with maintenance providers, AOG desk and Short Term planning.
  • Monitor MEL/CDL/critical deferred defects across the fleet and ensure plans are in place to rectify each within the allowed time limit in coordination with our maintenance providers.
  • Requesting MEL extensions whenever there is a risk that MEL rectification could not be performed within respective time frame.
  • Track and analyze repetitive and recurring defects across the fleet.
  • Ensure maintenance resource is located for all non-scheduled arising in the most expeditious manner possible.
  • Manage the AOG recovery process including AOG spares request initiation and follow up.
  • Assure precise and on time communication regarding all technical related schedule disruptions.

Experience:

Minimum 5+ years of experience in the similar role in the MCC department of an airline

  • Type rated on B747-400s with minimum 3 years practical experience on 747-400s and 1 years’ experience in MCC.
